Reformer Pilates for Athletes in Cork

Athletes training

Our Athletic Reformer classes are for teens and adults who want to build strength, stability, and resilience through structured, coached training.

These sessions combine traditional Pilates principles with more dynamic, strength-focused exercises to help improve performance, coordination, and overall movement quality. The reformer allows for challenging strength work while maintaining control and joint support, making it an excellent addition to many sports and training programmes.

Athletes across a wide range of sports use Pilates to develop core strength, improve mobility, and reduce the risk of injury, while also helping the body recover from the demands of training.

These classes are designed specifically for athletes, with a focus on strength, control and movement quality to support performance and reduce injury risk.

Athlete Strength & Performance Reformer (Adults)

A strength-led reformer session designed specifically for adult athletes looking to enhance performance and reduce injury risk.

This class uses heavier spring resistance to build full-body strength, alongside targeted mobility, balance, and stability work to support joint integrity and movement efficiency. Sessions focus on developing power, control, and coordination — key foundations for performance across a wide range of sports.

Expect structured, progressive strength training on the reformer, with lighter spring work used strategically to challenge stability, balance, and neuromuscular control.

This is not a flow-based Pilates class. It is athletic performance training delivered through intelligent resistance work, suitable for athletes who want to build strength, resilience, and improve their performance.

You should have prior reformer experience or have completed at least 3 Reformer Essentials classes to learn the basics and reformer safety before attending this class.

Train smarter, move better, and build strength that supports your sport and everyday life.
